PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES

Enterosgel is of porous structure in the form of solid, spatially formed silicon organic matrix with specified pore dimensions, which preferentially secure the sorption of middle-molecule substances. This safeguards the said sorption detoxifying properties of Enterosgel as well as the selective action capacity.

During its passage through the digestive tract, the product binds endogenous and exogenous toxic substances of various types, including bacteria and bacterial toxins, antigens, food allergens, medicaments, and their waste products, heavy metal salts and alcohol, and eliminates them from the body. The product also sorbs some metabolic products, including excessive quantities of bilirubin, urea, cholesterol, and lipid complexes as well as metabolites responsible for the development of endogenous toxicosis.
Enterosgel eliminates aromatic hydrocarbons and their derivatives, organic solvents and other industrial poisons, incorporated radionuclides from the body.

ENTEROSGEL USE IN MEDICINE
The therapeutic effect of Enterosgel is based upon its ability to absorb substances which damage mucosal epithelium. A. Findings in individuals who did not use Enterosgel
Due to impaired microcirculation, mucosal oedema develops; sections with large and deep damage of erosive nature are obvious as well as minor multiple bleeding. The inclusion of Enterosgel in the complex therapy for bronchial asthma enables to reduce the severity of the condition or to prevent its deterioration, to prolong the interval between attacks, and to normalise immunological factors and external breathing function factors.
NEPHROLOGY AND UROLOGY
The use of Enterosgel in the complex therapy of renal insufficiency effectively treats not only the intoxication syndrome, but also other signs of the disease – abdominal, dysuric syndrome and temperature reaction. As a result of treatment with Enterosgel, the toxic and metabolic load of the body is always reduced. The use of Enterosgel contributes to decreasing the acidosis and azotemia values in patients with nephrological conditions and complicated renal insufficiency. When Enterosgel is used, on day 10 – 12 creatinine and urea factors drop approx. 1.7 – 2.2 times, the hydrogen-carbonate potential of blood is restored, and renal ammoniagenesis is improved.
